In the beginning, Sharon Osbourne was mostly known for her role as the wife of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne.

Over the years and decades, however, she’s carved out her own success and risen to become a prominent figure in the entertainment industry in her own right.

With her signature red hair and natural charisma, fans have come to know and love Sharon – it’s no great understatement to say that she’s instantly recognizable worldwide.

This is perhaps why fans had a lot to say as she sported a new look while spending some quality time with her extended family. In a series of pics uploaded to Instagram, Osbourne posed with her grandchildren and her daughter-in-law.

Yet while plenty of people had positive things to say, there were more than a few who commented on just how different Sharon looked …

Changes in Sharon Osbourne’s appearance aren’t exactly what her loyal followers have become accustomed to over the years.

For two decades The Osbournes star could be relied upon to be seen with her trademark dark red hair and a face full of makeup.

Indeed, her signature look somewhat helped as she climbed the rungs of fame and removed herself from the shadow of her iconic husband.

In 2020, though, Sharon decided to shake things up in a big way, swapping out her red hair for platinum blonde. As her colorist, Jack Martin wrote on Instagram at the time: “Sharon has 100% white hair and she was coloring her hair once a week dark vibrant red for the past 18 years.”

Mere months later, however, the 70-year-old decided to reverse her decision.

“I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror, and I’m like, ‘Nah, you look like Grandma Clampett,’” she said during an episode of The Talk.

“And then I thought, ‘Nah, I’m changing it back,’ and that’s what I did.”

Since then, Sharon hasn’t done much, if anything, to mess with her appearance, but a set of photos she posted to her Instagram page last week has definitely got people talking.

The TV personality and music manager’s hair hadn’t been touched, but she looked to be without any makeup, which was enough for folk to comment on how different she looked.

“It doesn’t even look like her anymore,” one user said.

Another added: “SHARON … I love you more than my own mother but darling PLEASE no more face stuff…”

A third wrote: “If that’s Sharon she looks very unwell?”

Needless to say, others were quick to jump to Sharon’s defense, rightly explaining that critics should be minding their own business.

Personally, I think Sharon has the right to look however she likes. If anything, I think she looks healthier with a more natural approach.
