As a novelist, I never imagined that my life would change so drastically. I now manage my father’s office, which provides print and photo services and often find myself helping out as an employee. It’s a story that never happened in my wildest dreams.

Recently, a beautiful girl recognized me and returned with candies, wishing my father good health. A few days later, a colleague left a book with an inscription.

I meet interesting people every day, and it’s hard to feel sad or depressed. It’s difficult to explain how all of this is related, but the service sector is an incredibly fascinating world, and I love it.

Today, a young boy entered the office. He needed a passport photo, and he was wearing a jacket. I greeted him and asked him to take it off.

I must have looked scared, and in an attempt to fix the situation, I asked him to take off his jacket again. He laughed and wished me good luck.

Initially, I thought that this new life was only temporary until my father got better and I will get back to my novelist life. But now, I’m sure that even if others can’t handle it, I can write a book with one hand and print a three-by-four-size picture in a notebook with the other.

Life changes can be challenging to navigate, but there are several things you can do that helped a novelist to manage through:

  1. Acknowledge your feelings: It’s normal to experience a range of emotions when going through a life change. It’s important to allow yourself to feel those emotions and acknowledge them. This can help you process what you’re going through and move forward.
  2. Focus on what you can control: While some things in life are out of our control, there are often things we can control. By focusing on what you can control, you can take steps to manage the situation and make progress toward your goals.
  3. Seek support: Talking to someone you trust, whether it’s a friend, family member, or professional, can help you feel supported and provide a new perspective. Additionally, joining a support group can help you connect with others who are going through similar experiences.
  4. Take care of yourself: It’s important to take care of yourself physically and mentally during a life change. This can include eating well, exercising regularly, getting enough sleep, and practicing self-care.
  5. Look for opportunities: Although life changes can be difficult, they can also bring new opportunities. Look for ways to learn and grow from the experience, and explore new paths that may open up as a result.

Remember that life changes are a natural part of life and that everyone experiences them in different ways. By taking care of yourself, seeking support, and focusing on what you can control, you can navigate life changes in a healthy and positive way.
