Sharon Osbourne is sounding off against “cray-cray” Joy Behar for disrespecting her marriage at an event years ago.
British television personality Sharon Osbourne is speaking out to reveal that she is not a fan of The View co-host Joy Behar, who allegedly once made a disrespectful comment to her at an event years ago.
Osbourne told Fox News that she used to watch The View every day in her dressing room during her time on the CBS program The Talk, and while she likes Whoopi Goldberg and “loves” Sara Haines, she has a big problem with their co-host Behar.
“I met [Joy] once at a social function and she picked up my hand and looked at my wedding ring and said, ‘Oh, my God that’s gaudy,’” Osbourne recalled.
Osbourne took this as a clear sign of disrespect to her marriage to the Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne, who she has been married to for forty years. In contrast, Behar is on her second marriage after a bitter divorce, and she’s only been married to her current husband for just over a decade.
“I wanted to say, ‘Jealous,’ but I didn’t, I held it back,” Osbourne said, making sure to drag out the word “jealous” for emphasis. “I just think that she’s a bit cray-cray.”
Osbourne went on to say that despite years of experience in television, she’s never been approached to fill an open seat on The View, but it sounds like she wouldn’t be interested even if they did ask.
“Can you imagine me on The View? I’d be like, ‘You shut up, you shut up,’” she entertained.
Making allusion to the talk show’s fairly strong ratings, Osbourne concluded by paying The View a small compliment, declaring, “I wish we had their numbers.”
Osbourne was shockingly fired by CBS last year after she dared to defend her good friend Piers Morgan from accusations of racism levelled against him after criticizing Meghan Markle. This experience taught Osbourne firsthand why so many Americans no longer trust mainstream media.
“I wouldn’t trust CBS as far as I could throw them,” she said.
Another member of the media that Osbourne has a problem with is the CNN host Don Lemon, who said he was “enraged” by the behavior that led to her being fired by CBS.
“He turned against me. He never called for a quote,” she recalled. “He never called for his statement, and he turned against me. And I was a big fan of his.”
“He used to do the New Year’s Eve show, and he would get drunk and he’d be in clubs, and I thought he was a hoot. I really did,” Osbourne recounted. “But, I just thought, ‘How ignorant of you not to ask the other side,’ because that’s your job. That’s what you’re meant to do. So, I thought, ‘I’m not watching you on New Year’s Eve again.’”
Fans can learn more about Osbourne on her four-part Fox Nation docuseries Sharon Osbourne: To Hell & Back.
“People think that this documentary is just about cancel culture. It’s of course, there is that in there,” she said, elaborating, “But it’s also about my life and how I started off in the industry, and my father was in the industry and I kind of feel I’ve lived about three lives. So it’s interesting for people who don’t know much about me.”
Osbourne certainly is one woman who is not afraid to tell it like it is! It will be interesting to see if Behar and Lemon have the guts to fire back at her, but we’re guessing they’re going to want to keep their mouths shut on this one.
