I always go to the same shop to buy tickets, but after checking them, I realized that I chose the same combination twice. I wanted to cancel the tickets, but then I thought: what’s the difference, I won’t win anything anyway.
The next day, when the draw was held, Mrs. Say looked at her phone for the results and was speechless. The figures on one of the tickets brought the family £500,000. In the meantime, the stunned grandmother ran to her husband to tell him the good news, another surprise awaited her.
It turned out that the second ticket was also winning. By some miracle, the same combination fell out twice in a row, and this turn doubled the previously received amount. Ultimately, the family’s budget was replenished by one million pounds.
