We had just gotten married, and we still didn’t have a bed in our bedroom after the renovations. We decided to buy a new one. My mother-in-law and father-in-law went out and bought a new and big bed. I thought it was for us, but they said they would give us their old bed and they would use the new one.

Honestly, I was surprised at this move. They gave away their 30 year old bed for m. But I didn’t say anything. I didn’t want to fight with them.

My mother-in-law supposedly explained the reason for her action. she said that this bed is new and you just got married, you will break it quickly. I felt very ashamed. I told my father this story and he bought us a new and bigger bed as a gift.
