Nicki Lynn Aycox, a former actress best known for her role as Meg Masters in Supernatural passed away at the age of 47.
The actors passing was confirmed by Aycox’s sister-in-law on social media. No cause of death has been released as yet but Aycox had shared a leukemia diagnosis on social media. “She was definitely a fighter and everyone who knew her loved her,” Ceklosky said.
Eric Kripke, creator of Supernatural said he was “gutted” to hear of Aycox’s passing in a Twitter post. “Too young,” Kripke wrote. “She was a delight & delivered lines like honey & venom. I marvel at how she made a simple word like ‘lackluster’ legendary.”
Her acting credits included Providence, Over there, Dark Blue, Ed, and Cold Case. Early acting appearances include 3rd Rock from the Sun, USA High, Boy Meets World, The X-Files.
Aycox was born in Hennessey, Oklahoma.
